AVPA

About us

We are a growing network of Centers of Excellence, linking research capacities with policy making and product development in the vaccines sector.

How We Achieve Outcomes

We work to enable a better understanding of how technological change occurs in the sector, to train researchers to empirically take stock of current capacities and markets, to identify gaps, to measure progress of implemented laws and policy frameworks, and to enact new incentives.

Our Mission

Generating new information on technology and other gaps in Africa’s vaccine production and innovation system.

Our Model

We work directly in African countries with public sector instutions, governmental agencies, policy makers and companies, engaging directly through data collection, workshops, training activities. We actively promote collaborative connections between all our different partners, building bridges for translational research and sharing of experiences, and promote venues for policy change.

Our Partners

We work to achieve impact through a range of partners who all form part of our growing centres of excellence network. Each of them bring a diverse set of expertise to the network.
