Objectives of the workshop

To discuss key technology transfer issues related to vaccine production and innovation in Africa and identify key actions required to unlock technology partnerships.

Background

Accelerating Vaccine Production in Africa (AVPA) and the African Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative (AVMI) are delighted to announce the co-covening of a virtual workshop on technology transfer as part of a 3-part workshop series for stakeholders in the African vaccine sector. This workshop will offer valuable insights into the pivotal role of technology transfer in bridging R&D gaps and facilitating the acquisition of knowledge and technical skills necessary to enhance vaccine production and foster innovation in Africa.
